On The Run

When Rosie was a baby, this was about the most of her I could get in a photograph!  She was on the move all of the time.  She Loved my husband's chair, up and down, around and around she went on it.

Now...the poor little thing chooses her steps very carefully.

Older folks do need to move much more deliberately, not so, Rosie?

I was looking at kitten pictures of our Samantha when she was up a tree or on top of the roof. Now the poor old gal, who is 18 years old only moves a few feet. It is either to lay down, or go to her box, or to her food and water. But she still perks up when I brush her.

Awww - you are still looking good tho Rosie. It's tough getting old, M says. I'm going to be 6 and even I'm moving a little slower.,

Every now and then, I get a spurt of energy where I race all over the house. I bet Rosie does, too.

Rosie sounds like me. We do have to be careful of where we step.

Sammy is like this, too. He used to see the camera and RUN! Now he just sits there, as if to say, "okay, let's just get this over with..." ;)

Oh yes, seniors (humans too) do move slower.
It's good to be careful, Rosie. There's no need to rush.

That's okay, sweet Rosie has earned it!

Yes, Rosie seemed to have Velcro feet when she was young. She could be upside down on that chair and it didn't seem to phase her.
