Hey, Henry, our oldest grand has a lamp just like that in her room!!!!!! We hope you either figured out a way to get that moth, or that you found another one you could get!!!!
Too bad Henry, better luck next time...We hope Rosie feels better soon with the new meds and we are purring loudly and praying for your Mom as well...Best of luck, Cindy...Take care sweet friends...xoxo...J, Calle, Halle, Sukki
Oh we love to chase moths too but they usually do land in some lamp or place we can't get them. Hopefully it flew out of the lamp so you could grab it. Take care and have a wonderful Sunday.
Lucky you, Henry! We don't seem to get any winter moths here - most of them come around in the summer. Every so often my human will catch a moth in her hands and then let it go for me to chase!
Rats! I think it'll probably come out eventually. They are great fun to attempt to catch when they're not trying to fly through the celing or stuck in the lamp.
Since seeing those few winter moths recently, Henry is now seeing imaginary moths everywhere. He spends the day staring at the ceiling even though nothing is there.
He reminds me of myself when tick season starts in the spring. Once I find the first tick on me, I imagine feeling ticks everywhere until things settle down in late summer.

Don't you just love catching those flighty little creatures. I do too.
Just wait...it's gotta come out sometime!!
Oh yucky! Well, at least it is well and truly cooked!
It will be overcooked by the time it comes out from the lamp. A juicy one would be much tastier.

Oh Henry that stinks that the moth was in the lamp - we bet it would have been so tasty!
And we had to laugh because we have that same lamp!!
